Railroad Station Stamp Designs, published by Seigensha art press, is one of best little design books that I've purchased recently. The 256-page, pocket-sized book is entirely in Japanese, and features 380 "eki stamps" from 47,000 prefectures. Each of the Japanese stamps within includes woodblock-style illustrations that are unique to the station where they're given — often featuring intricately drawn scenes that correspond to the surrounding region. The stamps are accompanied by the station’s name, the date the stamp was introduced, and its size. Learn more about Railroad Station Stamp Designs at seigensha.com.
Ps. the book behind this one (in the photo below) is another Japanese book published by Seigensha titled A Compilation of Contemporary Letter Designs. It's also amazing and I plan to post some images from it in the near future.
